I am not a morning person. It's not something you can force yourself into doing willingly, and being "retired" means i have a fair bit of control over my schedule. If I've slept well, 8 a.m. is an okay start to the day. If i haven't, i may rot in bed til 10 or later. I spend the first hour after waking mostly just drinking coffee and hating. There's got to be a better way, but what? How? πŸ˜„

Hi Laura! Welcome to My Midlife Chapter 😊 I totally get you in the not being a morning person. I'm not a natural one either! These little things I'm doing really do help me and they're simple, which is a must-have! I would never be able to do the 5am morning routine that seems to be so popular nowadays! Urrgh! Drinking coffee in bed sounds good but what about putting on some of your favourite music and just having a little dance sesh? Dance like nobody is watching...might be fun! xx

Might invest in one of those sunrise lights too, my daughter has one and it’s so soothing! πŸŒ…β€οΈ
