Just started following you and enjoying the writing and info you are sharing. Was wondering if you had any thoughts on vitamins for the menopausal women over 50 or any top tips you had heard of for hot flashes or how to get more energy.

Hi Liz! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - I’m really glad you’re enjoying the writing and hope it's helpful.

Supplements are so individual, but what’s helped me personally (skin and joints in particular) is Kollo Health Collagen and their Meno supplement, which includes sage, ashwagandha, magnesium, B vitamins, and vitamin D. (I have a discount code link if you want to try it - just let me know.) I’ve also found magnesium glycinate or threonate great for sleep, plus an Epsom salt bath now and then!

I'm off HRT now (was getting bleeds and couldn't be bothered with all the faff) and I do get a few hot flushes but definitely feel the above supps help me - and...

My top tips for energy: Move everyday - just a simple walk in nature or stretch. Nap if you need (I'm partial to an afternoon 30 mins shut eye if I can fit it in!) and there's research to show it helps with energy and longevity! A calming skincare routine, avoiding screens before bed, and listening to music or meditations (I like Insight Timer app) though I still wake for the classic 3am midlife wee which is annoying.

Thanks again - so lovely to connect! Lisa x

(And I know, Camille is always such an inspiration, she radiates ageless joy!). And, also, THANK YOU for the video how-to — I just got a new gua sha from ESPA, so perfect timing and will put your expert moves to the test this weekend!! Have a wonderful Bank Hol, and thank you so so much, again! XXX
